About Penang Road Teochew Chendul
It was established out of love for family when it’s founder, Tan Teik Fuang learned making and began selling chendol at Penang Road back in 1936.
1 ) Asam Laksa
Noodles smooth & brooth thick with black prawn sauce. Taste much spicer cause of small chilli. ( Chilli Padi )
2 ) Curry Mee
The brooth white in colour but after stir mix with chilli, it turned red. Anyway it taste good.
3 ) Chee Cheong Fun
It was rice batter mix with sesame seeds & black sauces ( combination of prawn sauce, chilli sauce, sweet sauce )
4 ) Fruits Rojak
It’s was mixtures of fruits ( pineapple, mango, cucumber,sengkuang & octopus ) with black sauces. Notice that the plate printed E.S.T since 1936.
5 ) Chendul
Chendul is a dark-green pulpy dish of rice ( or sago ) flour shaped like worms mix with red beans top with shaved ice and served with coconut milk and syrup of areca sugar ( brown sugar or rose sugar ).
