Restoran Lan Je is a Chinese restaurant serving Chinese dishes. In Kota Damansara outlet , Restaurant Lan Je occupied two shop units. One is air-conditioned and the other is ventilated by ceiling fans.

By the way this restaurant is pork free but so far didn’t saw any Halal Certificate. Parking is not a problem here as there is huge parking lots in front of the shop. Do call to make reservation and also reserve the fish as the Tilapia Fish might be sold out and get the best seats.

Restaurant Lan Je is started in Rawang and today they have a few branches in Taman Tan Yew Lai, Subang Jaya, Desa Aman Puri, Setia Alam, Puchong, Kota Kemuning, Klang Parade Level 5, Bayu Tinggi Klang, Mid Valley Food Hall and even in Penang.

Restaurant Lan Je steamed fish is famous for their signature Steamed Tilapia Fish and once featured on 8Tv’s popular food program “ Ho Chak ”.

The Tilapia Fish was steamed with soy sauce and topped with ginger, garlic and chilli padi. Can choose the spiciness by not spicy (non spicy) , mild spicy (normal) and very spicy or super spicy (spicy) . The difference between the level of spiciness is the amount of chilli padi sprinkled on the fish. The price varies according to the size. ( small, medium and large). There are only one type of fish which is the Black Tilapia Fish and one type of cooking method for this dish and no other fish type are available.

The fish is always fresh, juicy and the meat is springy every time. The steamed mouth watering spicy Tilapia Fish. The hot sauce from the steamed fish goes well with the white rice and the chilli flavour can be taste in the fish meat as well. Beware of the bones when you are eating the fish.
